Design
Both wireless earbuds have an almost similar design. The stems and oblong buds look the same however, the AirPods Pro is comfier to the ear because of the silicone ear tips. The ear tips are available in different sizes.
In terms of durability, these two earbuds are good to go. Both the AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro are sweat and water resistant with an IPX4 rating.
Audio Technology
Perhaps, this is where you started seeing the class between these two earbuds. Apple denied the AirPods 3 some key audio features. For example, audio features such as the active noise cancellation (ANC) and transparency mode are only available in the AirPods Pro which is the main reason it is more pricey.

AirPods 3 has more lasting battery life. It gives 6 hours of listening time and the case should give you additional 30 hours too. When compared to the AirPods Pro, you’ll get 4.5 hours of listening time and the case add extra 20 hours. Bottom line is that the newly released AirPods 3 offers a better battery life.

AirPods 3 vs AirPods Pro: Conclusion
The AirPods Pro is more sophisticated and obviously more expensive. But if you are on a budget and can’t purchase the Pro, the newly released AirPods 3 is a good alternative. At least that was Apple’s aim for not making it better than the AirPods Pro.
