Android 14 features
Optimization for Big Screens
Google will develop the Android 14 in such a way that it will work smoothly across smartphones, tablets, foldable, and any other big screen form factors. The goal is to make Android 14 work across all devices and form factors. So you can easily optimize your app across all Android surfaces.
Improved Battery Life
Google’s mission through the Android 14 includes improvements in system health and battery life. Google aimed to achieve this by streamlining background work on Android 14, and once that is accomplished, battery life will be improved significantly.
Big fonts with non-linear scaling
Beginning with Android 14, users will be able to zoom system fonts to 200% and the OS will also apply specific scaling for smaller sub-menu text items. This means that the text that is already large enough doesn’t increase at the same rate as smaller text.

Security and Privacy
Google takes security and privacy matters seriously. And Android 14 will continue to build on from where Android 13 had stopped. Android 14 will block the installation/sideloading of old Android apps. This means any apps made for version 7/8 of Android OS will not be allowed to run on Android 14. Android 14 will warn you when you try to install these apps.
