Apple A17 Pro chipset is the first industry chip that’s built on a 3nm process. Smaller processes result in a higher performance. The A17 Pro has 19 billion transistors as opposed to the 16 billion transistors in the 4nm node of A16 Bionic.

When it comes to the CPU, the A17 Pro Chip is 10% faster than the A16 Bionic. And when it comes to the GPU, it’s 20% faster than the A16 Bionic. More so, the A17 Pro chip has a Neural Engine with a 16-core which is 2x faster in machine learning than the A16 Bionic.

This year’s iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max would take gaming to whole new kinda levels. Thanks to the new Chip. Unlike the A16 Bionic with a software-based Ray Tracing, the new A17 Pro Chip enables hardware-accelerated Ray Tracing, which is about 4x faster.
