Apple A17 Pro Specs
The Apple A17 Pro chip is built by TSMC. It’s a 5G chipset that is fabricated on a TSMC 3nm process. It’s the first industry chip that’s built on a 3nm process.
Apple A17 Pro Chip features a 6-core processor with 2 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores. And according to Apple, it’s 10% CPU faster than the A16 Bionic. The GPU is a 6-core unit, which Apple said is 20% more powerful than the A16 Bionic.
The iPhone 15 Pro will be a good gaming device this year. Thanks to the new chip- A17 Pro. The GPU enables hardware-accelerated Ray Tracing, which is supposedly 4 times faster than the software-based Ray Tracing on last year’s chip.
Because of the A17 Pro Chip, the iPhone 15 Pro can play games like Resident Evil Village and Assassin’s Creed Mirage seamlessly. Both games will launch on the new iPhone 15 Pro models next year.
In terms of RAM and Storage technology, the chipset supports LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage type. The SoC supports up to 48MP camera sensors and 4K 60fps in ProRes RAW and has support for the industry standard ACES color profile. The Neural Engine is a 16-core unit.
