AI makes smartphones smarter, better, and more user-friendly. Apple generative AI is coming on the iPhone 16 series. Already, Apple’s competitors- the likes of Samsung and Google have already made AI features a big part of their latest smartphone announcements.

The Apple generative AI is expected to come toward the end of 2024 (Q3/Q4). However, the features may be announced at WWDC in the summer, before arriving in September in the iPhone 16 lineup.
When Tim Cook was asked about the Apple AI, below was what had to say:
“In terms of generative AI, which, I’d guess, is your focus, we have a lot of work going on internally as I’ve alluded to before. Our MO, if you will, has always been to do work and then talk about work and not to get out in front of ourselves. And so, we’re going to hold that to this as well. But we’ve got some things that we are incredibly excited about that we’ll be talking about later this year.”
