A battery test was carried out by a YouTuber to confirm which iPhone has the best battery life in 2022 and the battery test also included iPhones released even in 2020.

MrWhosTheBoss has shared its extensive battery test for the iPhone 14 series on YouTube. And going by this new Apple iPhone 14 battery test, it’s safe to that the battery of the iPhone 13 Pro Max beats that of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. This Apple iPhone 14 battery test includes 7 Apple iPhones. It included the iPhone SE, iPhone 12, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

As expected, the iPhone 14 Pro Max and 14 Pro with the new A16 Bionic chipset have the best battery life in this test. The iPhone 14 Pro Max comes first with its battery lasting for 9hrs 31 minutes. This battery life is no doubt remarkable, the same test performed by MrWhosTheBoss last year saw the battery of the iPhone 13 Pro Max lasting for 9hrs 51 minutes. This means that despite getting a new chipset and a new LTPO display that can refresh between 1Hz and 120Hz, the battery iPhone 14 Pro Max is still behind that of the 13 Pro Max.
According to MrWhosTheBoss, all the iPhones in this Apple iPhone 14 battery tests were set to the maximum settings. All screens were at peak brightness, Wi-Fi turned on, and Bluetooth turned on. The only iPhone 14 model that was not available for this test is the iPhone 14 Plus. But Apple said the iPhone 14 Plus has 30% better battery life than the iPhone 14 and if we’re to trust what Apple said, the iPhone 14 Plus battery might have lasted for 9hrs 23 minutes on this test.
