Apple M2 Max vs Intel Core i9-13900HX: An early leaked benchmark has shown the Intel Core i9-13900HX to be faster than Apple M2 Max with up to 9% in single-core and 38% in multi-core performance. Even though this is an early performance test, it favors the Intel CPU.

The Apple M2 Max processor will power the next MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch. Which is set to arrive in 2023. While the Intel Core i9-13900HX processor will be seen on windows laptops from 2023. Intel could announce the chip during the CES 2023 event.

Based on its appearance on the Geekbench website, the Intel Core i9-13900HX has 24 cores with 32 threads. This means there is a slew of Efficiency cores and Performance cores.

Apple M2 Max vs Intel Core i9-13900HX: Geekbench Scores

The Intel Core i9-13900HX scored 2,063 points in the single-core test and 20,164 points in the multi-core. While the Apple M2 Max had 1,889 single-core and 14,586 multi-core scores. When put into comparison, the Intel Core i9-13900HX is faster than Apple M2 Max by 9% in single-core and 38% in multi-core tests.
