The Asus Rog Phone 6D Ultimate features the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset. This 5G chipset is built on TSMC’s 4nm process technology. This chipset/SoC has an Octa-core CPU with a maximum speed clocked at 3.35GHz. It has one high-performance Cortex-X2 core with a speed clocked at 3.35GHz, three big-efficiency Cortex-A710 cores with a speed clocked at 3.20GHz, and four small-efficiency Cortex-A510 cores with a speed clocked at 1.80GHz.
The CPU cores are paired with the Arm Mali-G710 MC10 GPU. This chipset is fast and also power efficient because it has fast CPU cores and a small fabrication process. Other exciting features of this chipset are that it has support for LPDDR5X RAM tech, UFS 3.1 storage, Bluetooth 5.2, and can record videos in 8K resolution. The peak download and upload speeds of this chipset are 9Gbps and 4.5Gbps respectively.

Asus Rog Phone 6D Ultimate features a triple rear camera and a single front camera. On the rear, it has a 50MP primary camera with 1.0µm pixels, f/1.9 aperture, 24mm focal length, and PDAF features. This primary camera is supported by an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 12MP front-facing camera.
The 50MP primary camera is a Sony IMX766 sensor and can record steady videos in 8K resolution @24fps while the front camera can record steady videos in 1080p resolution @30fps. Available camera features for photography and videography are LED flash, HDR, panorama, gyro-EIS, HDR10+, etc.

The display is flat, has a 1080 x 2448px resolution, and is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The display has support for HDR10+ and its peak brightness is up to 1200 nits. The front screen is flat and the bezels and chins are relatively big (82.2% screen-to-body ratio) but the back panel is slightly curved.
Rog Phone 6D Ultimate is made of a Glass front (Gorilla Glass Victus), glass back (Gorilla Glass 3), and aluminum frame. It is IPX4 water resistant, supports Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by, has a Built-in motorized cooling air vent (AeroActive Portal), a 2-inch OLED display (on the back), and Pressure sensitive zones (Gaming triggers).
The Rog Phone 6D Ultimate has its volume rocker and power button on the right side of the frame of the phone. It has a microphone, speaker grill, and two USB Type-C charging ports. One of the USB type-C ports is located on the bottom frame while the other is at the side. It has support for a 3.5mm headphone jack and it has 2 amplifier stereo speakers (24-bit/192kHz audio).
