ZTE Nubia is working on its new flagship smartphone “the ZTE Nubia Z40”. There have been rumors and teaser of this device on the internet over the last weeks but nothing revealing its specifications and features. Well, at least until now.

Details of the ZTE Nubia Z40 has popped up on Geekbench revealing some of its specifications. For starts, the device score 1228 in singe core and 3379 in multi-core score.

The phone will rock the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip from Qualcomm and it will come in two models “Nubia Z40 and Z40 Pro”. It will boot Android 12 out of the box and will have up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

There is going to be a version of this device with maybe a 12GB of RAM but we’re yet to see that. Storage option is expected to starts from 256 and 512GB. It seems the phone is in the final stage of testing and we might get to see it soon.

Note that ZTE Nubia is also planning on launching the Red Magic 7 series in China next week. So it seems we’ll get to see more smartphones from ZTE Nubia in the first quarter of the year.
