Price, Release Date, and Availability
Both smartwatches were announced on the same day- August 24, 2022. However, the prices are different. The Fitbit Sense 2 is priced at $300, while the Fitbit Versa 4 will cost you $229. The Sense 2 is more expensive and that’s because it supports more features. Also, you can use the box at the bottom of this post to buy either of them.
Design, Display, and Durability
These two smartwatches have a rectangular design. The Fitbit Sense 2 has a bigger display of a 1.58-inch AMOLED touchscreen with 336 x 336 px resolution. While the Fitbit Versa 4 comes with a smaller screen of 1.32-inches AMOLED.
Both smartwatches are water resistant and have a two-tone color vibe. The band’s Color is darker and slightly different from the color of the watch. Available color options for the Fitbit Sense 2 are Blue Mist/Soft Gold Aluminium, Lunar White/Platinum Aluminium, and Shadow Grey/Graphite Aluminium.
On the other hand, the Fitbit Versa 4 comes in multiple colors such as Beet/Copper Rose, Black/Graphite, Pink Sand/Copper Rose, and Waterfall Blue/Platinum.

Performance | Software
The Fitbit Sense 2 and Versa 4 work well with Android (10 or higher) and iOS (13.5 or higher) devices. They support Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. And to sync either of them to your devices, it will require Bluetooth® LE, an internet connection, and location permissions granted on the phone.
Health and Fitness Sensors
The Fitbit Sense 2 is more advanced when it comes to health and fitness sensors. It supports a Skin temperature sensor, NFC, Ambient light sensor, Electrical sensor to measure skin conductance (cEDA) for body response tracking, Multi-path optical heart rate sensor (heart rate monitor), Red and infrared sensors for oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring (Blood Oxygen monitor), and Multipurpose electrical sensors compatible with ECG app & EDA app. Note that the ECG app is not available in all countries.
The Fitbit Versa 4 has the basic health and fitness sensors but is not as sophisticated as the Fitbit Sense 2. fitness. It has support for NFC, Ambient light sensor, Multi-path optical heart rate sensor (heart rate monitor), skin temperature, and Red and infrared sensors for oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring (Blood Oxygen monitor). Unfortunately, it has no support for the ECG app.
Battery and Charging Tech
Battery-wise, both smartwatches can last you for more than 6 days depending on use. It will give you up to 5 hours with continuous GPS and you’ll need to frequently charge the smartwatch if you’re using the always-on display, SpO2, and the cEDA sensor.

Fitbit Sense 2 vs Fitbit Versa 4: Specs Verdict
The Fitbit Sense 2 is more expensive and that’s because it brings more health sensors/features (ECG app support). It’s more advanced than the Fitbit Versa 4. Also, the display of the Fitbit Sense 2 is bigger than the Fitbit Versa 4.
