Samsung did not mention the chipset inside the Galaxy A53 5G. In fact, on its website, the company only said the chipset is built on a 5nm process technology. Rumors from last year suggested that the Galaxy A53 5G will be powered by the Samsung Exynos 1200 chipset. However, we have now confirmed the real chipset inside the Galaxy A53 5G thanks to a teardown video.
According to the teardown video posted by “The Inside Man” on the Tech Rann YouTube channel, the chipset inside the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G comes with the model number “Samsung 8825”. Going through the list of Samsung chipsets, we found that the Exynos 1280 has this exact same model number.
