Galaxy F62 to arrive soon with 7000mAh battery, Exynos chip, 64MP Main camera

A new report from IANS says that Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy F62 in India by February (Africa countries soon). It also presumed that the price of the new Samsung phone will cost about 130,000 Naira ($340). The phone will also ship with an Exynos chipset and a 7,00mAh battery.

We’ve only been hearing news and rumors about this phone but now new have few specs of the Galaxy F62. Another report has stated that the Samsung phone will have 6.7 inch Super AMOLED display with 32MP selfie camera and a 64MP main rear camera.

It will come in Green and Blue colors (more colors might be added later) and will run Android 11 out of the box pared with One UI 3.1 skin software. The Galaxy F62 will come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage with space for storage expansion via microSD card. There might also be other storage options but no news about that yet.

What the two reports above does not include is the type of Exynos chip used inside the Galaxy F62. But according to this Geekbench result, we know the phone will be powered by the Exynos 9825 soC.

This Samsung Galaxy F62 is expected to be a rebranded Galaxy M62 (SM-M625F/DS) for some markets since its model code SM-E625F was mentioned in M62’s FCC listing.

FCC revealed the Galaxy M62 will ship with a 7,000 mAh battery and a 25W charger, and it will also have a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port on board.

More details about the Galaxy F62 and M62 should surface soon. What these updates means is that, in some markets, Samsung will sell the Galaxy M62 while in other markets they’ll sell the Galaxy F62.

Just like they did with the Galaxy A02s and M02s. Sold the Galaxy A02s in African countries and sold the Galaxy M02s in Asian countries. Either way, both phones are expected to have similar specifications.
