Galaxy M30s starts to get Android 11, One UI 3.0 and Security Patch Update

Just few weeks after Samsung starts rolling out Android 11 updates for the Galaxy A51 in Russia and other regions, they have now turned their attention to the Galaxy M30s.

Samsung is still very much in the game of keeping its old mid-range phones very up to date and feel new. And as stated above, the Samsung Galaxy M30s is set to receive One UI 3.0 based on Android 11 OS.

Considering that other phone manufacturers are still struggling to bring Android 11 to their flagship phones, this is quite impressive from Samsung.

The new release will also include Google’s latest security patch for February. And yes, all the features of Android 11 such as one time permission, chat bubbles etc is available. Also expect to have better user experience and navigation thanks to the new One UI 3.0.

Depending on your region, you can start getting the update anytime from now. But note that the OTA update rollout will be staged which means you might have to wait a while before it becomes available for your device.

The Galaxy M30s Android 11 update might start rolling our across Europe then Asia and Africa. Either way, you’ll be getting three updates in one; Android 11, One UI 3.0 and Google security patch for February.
