The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series have been on rumor mill for a while now. Samsung even through an official documentation confirmed the existence of the lineup. Now, the Galaxy Tab S8+ has shown its face on Geekbench. And it features the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip inside.

The model number of the Galaxy Tab S8+ spotted on Geekbench has the model number SM-X808U and comes with 8GB of RAM. From the test score, it has a single-core score of 1,223 and a multi-score of 3,195 on the benchmark.
Combing the high score with the ‘taro’ motherboard, makes it easy to point to it as running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. From the listing, we can also see that the device runs out of the box Android 12 customized with One UI 4.x.

Last year, Samsung powered the Galaxy Tab S7 lineup with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip. And it seems the company is following same step even though there are rumors of an Exynos 2200 version of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

For now, there is no official news about the Exyno powered version of this device and there is no leaks or rumors about its specs yet.
