The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is $30 cheaper. It is priced at $249 for the 40mm Bluetooth model, while the LTE version is priced slightly higher (you can enjoy discounts on the Galaxy Watch 4). In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 is priced at $280 for the Bluetooth version and the LTE version is priced at $330.

Design, Display, and Durability
One notable similarity between the Galaxy Watch 5 vs Galaxy Watch 4 is their design and shape. Both smartwatches have circular and round shapes with a flat display. Their design is opposite of the Apple Watch Series 7 and OPPO Watch 3 Pro with a rectangular shape.
As for the display sizes, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 has a 1.19-inch (40mm version) or 1.36-inch (44mm version) Super AMOLED touchscreen with Always-On Display. In comparison, Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 features a 1.2-inch (40mm version) or 1.4-inch (44mm version) Super AMOLED with an Always-On Display.
However, the Galaxy Watch 5 is more durable than the Galaxy Watch 4. The Galaxy Watch 5 has better screen protection as it comes with “Saphire Glass”. Although both smartwatches are waterproof.

Performance
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 vs Galaxy Watch 4 are both powered by the Exynos W920 chipset paired with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB storage. Thus, opening apps and performing a daily task is snappy on both wearables.
