A certified device with the model SM-F7110 has been certified by Samsung on TENAA and the certified phone is the Chinese version of the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 3. The listing did not include any of the major specs of the device but it listed the network bands it’s certified to work on.
However, more leaks about the size and battery capacity of the device has surfaced.
From the new leaks, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 seems to be shorter and thinner than the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. It’s battery is listed to have 2,300mAh + 903mAh which brings it to a total of about 3,300mAh typical capacity.
When it comes to SIM slot, the new Flip phone will be having just one SIM slot with provision for eSIM module inside. Both the SIM card and eSIM supports LTE and 5G connectivity. But your carriers or network providers need to have this feature enables on their works.
As per software, the phone will run Android 11 out of the box along with Samsung own UI.
Along with the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy S21 FE, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is expected to debut on August 11. It is expected to be coming with two cameras and an OLED lined up vertically. Rumor has it that it has IP ratings and a bigger cover display.
More details will be revealed as time goes on. For now, it appears the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is getting a new hinge design.
