One of the key areas where the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to be better than the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the camera. The incoming Z Fold 4 is said to be coming with a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, a 12MP telephoto lens, a 16MP under-display front camera, and a 10MP selfie camera (for the outside display). This camera setup is much more advance than the all three 12MP triple rear cameras and double 10MP front cameras of the Z Fold 3.
This camera upgrade is not much of a surprise because vivo launched the vivo X Fold foldable phone with flagship camera sensors and features. So, it makes sense if Samsung is upgrading the cameras of the Z Fold 4.

The second upgrade is performance. According to the new spec leak, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will feature the recently announced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. This will boost the performance of the device and make it the most powerful foldable phone of 2022 (even though the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is currently the best foldable phone).
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip will be paired with 12/16GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of internal storage. The phone will boot One UI 4 based on Android 12 out of the box. Just like other Samsung flagship phones, it’ll get up to 4 years of major software updates and 5 years of monthly security patches.

The last upgrade we expect to see is the display material of the Z Fold 4. Yes, the display of the Z Fold 3 is really good but Samsung will be introducing an even better material for the Z Fold 4. According to Yogesh, the Z Fold 4 will come with a 7.6-inch Super AMOLED display on the inside. The foldable screen reportedly features QXGA+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The cover display measures 6.2 inches diagonally and has HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The incoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to be powered by a 4,400mAh battery with support for a 25W fast charge. The phone is expected to feature stereo speakers, an IPX8 rating, S Pen compatibility, Wireless DeX, Samsung Pay, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
