Along with other Samsung phones, the Galaxy S21 FE is expected to enter mass production in two months. We’ve seen some nice renders of the Galaxy S21 FE and now we got to see few details about the device from a Geekbench listing.
According to the smartphone’s benchmark scorecard, the Galaxy S21 FE is coming with Snapdragon 888 chipset, 6GB of RAM and Android 11 installed. We were hoping its debut will be delayed just enough for it to run the Android 12 which currently in beta state.
The device going to be the watered down version of the Galaxy S21 flagship and it has the code name SM-G990B. Galaxy S21 FE will be coming with a flat 6.4-inch screen, frosted plastic back and its camera module won’t be attached to the frame as seen in the Galaxy S21 lineup.
Rumor also has it that the Galaxy S21 FE will be launch same time as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 in August. But, launching with foldable will make it disappear into the shadows of those two.
And been the incoming Samsung flagship phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Flip 3 is tipped to come with the stable Android 12. This contradicts the Android 11 that the Galaxy S21 FE is been said to ship with.
