The iPhone 14 Pro Max and Pixel 7 Pro has the same 6.7-inches LTPO OLED display that has support for a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision (only the iPhone has this). The front screen of both smartphones is flat and the bezels around the display are just about the same size on both phones. The display of the iPhone 14 Pro Max is brighter, especially under direct sunlight (2000 nits on the iPhone and 1500 nits on the Pixel phone).
Apple has always maintained its design over the years and Google is also maintaining its design from last year. It is IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 6m for 30 mins) and has Scratch-resistant ceramic glass and oleophobic coating and its display is protected by a Ceramic Shield glass. It’s also IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 1.5m for 30 mins) and its display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
Both smartphones are made of durable materials that won’t get damaged in a single fall (from table height) and can survive 6m deep underwater for about 30 minutes. The display on both smartphones offers similar features but the iPhone has a brighter screen. But if looks are important to you, the Pixel 7 Pro looks more beautiful.

Every year, Google and Apple make some of the best camera smartphones in the industry. This year, both companies did not disappoint with the camera sensors and features on their flagship phones.

The 50MP primary camera of the Pixel 7 Pro has an f/1.9 aperture, 1.2µm multi-directional PDAF, 25mm focal length, Laser AF, and OIS. The 48MP main camera of the iPhone 14 Pro Max has an f/1.8 aperture, 1.22µm quad pixel PDAF, 24mm focal length, and sensor-shift OIS. The aperture and focal length of the main cameras on both phones are similar. However, the Laser AF feature of the Pixel 7 Pro allows the primary camera to focus on objects faster and take brighter photos in low-light conditions.
The Google Pixel 7 Pro has a 48MP telephoto lens that can do 5x optical zoom while the iPhone 14 Pro Max has a 12MP telephoto lens that can do 3x optical zoom.
