Honor 50 is the first Honor smartphone to use the Google Mobile service (GMS) since its separation from Huawei. And now, the company has globally launched the smartphone in Malaysia from approximately $405.
Earlier report suggested that Honor 50 will first debut in Europe, but that is not the case now. If you left the Honor brand because its smartphones lacks GMS support, well you might think of going back now.

Features of Honor 50
Honor 50 comes with a 6.57-inch FHD+ curved OLED display with a centered punch hole for a 32MP front-facing camera. The screen has a 120Hz refresh rate and can display up to 1.07 billion colors.

Under hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset paired with an 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage (no support for microSD card). There are four cameras at the rear; a 108MP f/1.9 main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.
Inside is a 4,300mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging tech. You can get the battery from 0 to 70% in 20 minutes. Other features of the Honor 50 includes; an in-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and Wi-Fi 6. It runs Magic UI 4.2 based on Android 11 out of the box.

Honor 50 Price & Availability
The starting price of Honor 50 is about $405 for the 6GB + 128GB model. While the 8GB + 256GB model will cost about $431. The 6GB RAM model is available HONOR Code and Midnight Black colors while the colors of the 8GB RAM model is; diamond-like Frost Crystal, Emerald Green, and Midnight Black.
Honor 50 is now available for pre-order in the HiHonor website. If you pre-order the 6GB RAM model, you’ll get an Honor 50 Hand Strap Case and extended warranty while those who pre-order the 8+256GB model get a free pair of the Honor Earbuds 2 Lite in addition to the case and extended warranty.
