How to transfer an eSim between iPhones using Bluetooth: Apple has introduced a new feature that allows you to transfer an eSim from iPhone to iPhone via Bluetooth. This is an added method to the traditional scanning of a QR code. In other words, this Bluetooth method is not replacing the QR method.

How to Transfer an eSim between iPhones using Bluetooth
- Step 1: Make sure both iPhones are running iOS 16 or later
- Step 2: Go to Settings
- Step 3: Enter “Mobile Data” (Cellular)
- Step 4: Tap “Set Up eSim”
- Step 5: Click the first option “Transfer from Another iPhone”
- Step 6: A message will prompt up that say’s, “To transfer an eSIM from another iPhone, make sure the other iPhone is nearby, unlocked, has Bluetooth turned on, and is running iOS 16 or later.”
- Step 7: Follow the on screen instructions to finish this process.

This process of using Bluetooth to transfer an eSim between iPhones is new and it comes with the new iOS 16 software. The iOS 16 Public beta is now available for download and instalment. Or you could wait till September when the official version is up for download.
