Huawei Mate X3 is coming with Galaxy Z Fold 4 Specs: Huawei is getting set to launch the Huawei Mate X3 foldable phone and the Huawei P60 phones on March 23. But, the early specs release has shown that the Mate X3 will have similar specs as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.
According to DSC on Weibo, the Huawei Mate X3 will have a 7.8-inch inner foldable display and a .45-inch AMOLED display on the outside. Both the inner and outer display will be 1080p resolution and support a 120Hz refresh rate.

However, just like the Galaxy Z Fold 4, the Mate X3 will be IPX8 water-resistant and its hinge will allow the phone open at different angles. These two features have been exclusive to the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and it’s impressive that Huawei is bringing it to the Mate X3 foldable phone.
As for the camera, the Huawei Mate X3 will come with a 50MP IMX766 main camera and a periscope zoom unit. It’s also expected to have two front cameras (one on the inside and the other on the outside).

The phone is expected to pack a 4,800mAh battery with support for 66W wired fast charging. It’ll also be the few foldable phones to support wireless charging (again just like the Z Fold 4).
As per the performance, it’ll be fueled by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and will have up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The China version will boot Huawei’s Harmony OS while the global version might boot stock Android should the company decide to launch it outside China.
