The specifications and price of the Huawei Nova 9 4G has been hinted ahead of its launch in Europe. Huawei is expected to launch two new phones in its October 21 event that will be held in Vienna, Austria.
Huawei is expected to unveil the Huawei Nova 9 and Nova 8i. These will be the company’s latest mid-range smartphones. But, only the 4G version of these phones is expected to hit Europe as Huawei can’t make 5G phones right now.

It’s been a while since the Chinese Tech giant released a smartphone outside China. Without support for Google Mobile services, Huawei is forced to use its own OS, Harmony OS and also build its own Huawei Mobile service and Huawei App Gallery.
With Google Mobile services gone, these new Nova 9 and Nova 8i will make use of Huawei Mobile Services. We’re yet to see how those in Europe will adapt to using a new app ecosystem.

Huawei Nova 9 Price in Europe
According to leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore on Twitter, the price of the Huawei Nova 9 with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage will retail for €499 or €549 depending on the region. Ambhore also tweeted some renders and images of the smartphone revealing its key specifications.

According to another leaker, @_Snoopytech, the Huawei Nova 9 will come with a 6.57-inch OLED panel and FHD+ resolution. The phone is also expected to have curved edges. It will rock the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset under the hood, paired with 8GB of RAM.

Also, the Nova 9 will come with 128GB of storage with no option for storage expansion via microSD card which is a bummer. The phone will be powered by a 4,300mAh battery that might have support for 66W fast charge tech. Snoopy also revealed some of its camera details.
The Nova 9 will likely come with a quad rear camera set up; 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, it will feature a 32MP camera for selfies bringing the total number of cameras to five.

Even with the Harmony OS 2 out, the Nova 9 is still tipped to run Android 11 out of the box. Maybe it might get upgraded to HarmonyOS or stay Android, for now the company is silent.
For connectivity, Huawei Nova 9 offers a USB-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, dual SIM slot, and 5G. Regrettably, the 3.5mm audio jack is not available on the device. And it has an in-screen fingerprint scanner for additional security.
