Huawei Nova 9 Pro live images and key specs appears online

Huawei Nova 9 Pro has appeared on TENAA with the model number RTE-AL00 along with its key specs. The Nova 9 series is expected to be announced by Huawei on September 23. So far, two phone have been confirmed to be on the lineup.

In addition to the key specs, live images of the Huawei Nova 9 Pro has also appeared online. And from the leaked images, the Nova 9 series look allot like the Honor 50 series.

Rumors going around also suggested that both the Honor 50 series and Nova 9 series share similar specs including, chipset, battery, and size. This raises the question if both Honor and Huawei have actually parted ways.

From the specs on TENAA, the Huawei nova 9 Pro will come with a 6.72-inches OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 300 Hz touch sampling rate. A leakster added to the already known specs on TENAA.

The main camera is believed to be 50MP, while the other three snappers will have 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP sensors behind the lens. The two front cameras is said to be 32 MP + 32 MP. One of the front cameras will be an ultra-wide lens.

The camera department might make the nova 9 Pro different from the Honor 50 Pro, but both phones share the exact same footprint, down to the last millimeter. They also share the same 2.4 GHz CPU, but claims are Huawei will yet again drop the 5G connectivity and will limit the Snapdragon 778G chipset to LTE in an attempt to be able to actually use modern-day SoC.

While the cameras inside the Nova 9 pro makes it look different from the Honor 50 Pro, both phones however have lots of similarities. Both phones have the same 2.4 GHz CPU, but claims are Huawei will stick to 4G LTE connectivity only of the Snapdragon 778G chipset in an attempt to be able to actually use modern-day SoC.

All the specs of the Nova 9 is pointing that it might be a rebranded Honor 50. It’s coming with a 6.57-inches display, a 4,300 mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. It might also use same chipset as the Honor 50 but nothing is confirmed yet.
