Huawei P40 Specifications: The recently Huawei P40 series have been gaining attention of Android phone users but not because of Google services. It’s camera features is fast becoming a talking point and despite it been launched without Google services, some persons might just decide to get any of these device.
The new Huawei P40 is the third most premium among all the three Huawei P40 series released by the company. It is under the radar of the Huawei P40 Pro Plus and the Huawei P40 Pro. It comes with smaller display size, battery size and less camera features. But, it also maintain same premium build and water fall display design.
Maybe Huawei is struggling without Google services but if you ask me. i’d say they doing quite fine. I mean, how long will it take before persons start to realize that maybe Google Playstore is not the only store to get Android Apps. Things are fast changing in the Smartphone world and i won’t be surprise if Google services gets a tough competition soon.
Anyway, the above is just a speculation given the fact that Huawei now have an App Gallery that comes with this new Huawei phone. I guess not using Google services has given them an alternative. Back to business of complete specifications of this new camera phone from Huawei.

The phone comes in a single variant of 8GB RAM and 128GB Internal Storage and there is also a space for external storage via microSD card. This is relatively good as more files can be saved and the phone can process more data with the installed RAM size. If you manage to fill up the internal storage, then you have the option of external storage up to 256GB via microSD card.
Huawei P40 Camera
Well, taking away Google services does not mean taking away camera. And Huawei gave users a strong reason why they should consider buying the new Huawei phone. Its not very often we see Android Phones with camera quality considered to be better than those of Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy Phones.
It comes with a main shooter of 50MP with its sensors at 1/1.28 beating the 1/1.33 sensor found in the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. Can the Huawei 50MP with bigger sensor beat the 108MP of the Samsung Galaxy in a photo contest? We’ll just to have to wait for a camera test to confirm.
There is also 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom feature and a 16MP ultrawide cameras at the back. The cameras comes with some features such as; omnidirectional PDAF, OIS and gyro-EIS in video mode.

Having Google services would have been incredible but Huawei is proving they can survive without those services.
