Huawei P50 Pro has a 6.6″ Full HD+ curved OLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1,228×2,700 pixels and a high refresh rate of 120Hz and 300Hz touch sampling rate.

While the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has a 6.8″ WQHD+ curved Dynamic AMOLED touchscreen with 120Hz refresh rate enabled. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus (world’s toughest screen protection). Brightness level can max up to 1500 nits.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has a sharper display. And for the record, both devices are water and dust resistants.

Camera

In terms of camera setup, Huawei P50 Pro has 50MP main snapper aided by 64MP periscope telephoto lens + 13MP ultrawide camera and 40MP black/white sensor. Upfront is a 13MP selfie camera.
Features of the camera include: Leica optics, optical image stabilization, PDAF, 3.5x optical zoom, Laser AF and can record video in 4k resolution.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has quad rear cameras. 108MP primary shooter that is supported by a 10MP periscope telephoto + another 10MP 3x optical zoom telephoto and a 12MP ultrawide lens. The selfie camera is 40MP.

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is powered by Snapdragon 888 5G chipset. Paired with 12/16GB RAM + 128/256GB or 512GB storage options.

Thus, when it comes to performance of both devices, the major difference is 5G network availability. Galaxy S21 Ultra is the only one here with the next gen connectivity.

Software

Once again, here is another key difference between both smartphones. The Huawei P50 Pro runs HarmonyOS 2.0 software out of the box. Since the US ban won’t allow it to use the Google Mobile Services. Making the smartphone uneasy to use outside China.
