A news that broke out earlier this week said that Qualcomm has been granted license by the US government to supply Huawei with some products.
As at then, it was just a rumor/report from China without any actual evidence. Well, until now of course.
Qualcomm has confirmed the reports in a public statement that it can now supply Huawei some products which includes 4G-enabled products.

There is no confirmation from the company regarding supplying Chinese tech company with 5G chips just yet.
And Qualcomm did not also say a word as to when they’ll be able to export 5G chips to Huawei. But, the Chinese tech company has always shown that they are willing to work with Qualcomm as long as the United States government allows them.
This is a welcome development considering that most persons have stopped using Huawei phones. If the United States government can allow Qualcomm to work with Huawei, it means they can also allow other United States based tech companies to do same in the future.
Huawei phones has good hardware thus far, but their software experience is a little shaky due to lack of GMS (Google Mobile Services). Let’s hope the Chinese tech company and the United States government works together more from here onwards.
