Huawei Y9a: Huawei Mobile is bringing a new device into their Y collection and its quite impressive. They have gone big with this new device which might make users consider buying the device.

The device comes with a circular back camera module and it spots a very beautiful design. All three choice of color is also very nice adding to the over physical beauty of the phone.

About Huawei Y9a

The Huawei Y9a is the latest phone produced by Huawei into the Huawei Y line up. It comes with a motorized pop up selfie camera, 64MP quad rear camera among other nice features.

Just like other new Huawei devices, there is no Google services available for this device. But, Huawei has really improved in its App Gallery collection which no offers tons of Apps and Games (though still not as many as Google Playstore).

Huawei Y9a: Design, Display and Build

When it comes to design, the phone has a curved edges, circular camera module at the rear and its volume button and power button at the right.

It also offers full display with its pop up selfie camera. Its display size is 6.63 inch IPS LCD. You get a plastic back, plastic frame and glass front for its build materials.

This phone is just like the Tecno Camon 15 Premier or the Infinix S5 Pro that was released by Tecno Mobile and Infinix Mobile recently.

Huawei Y9a: Camera

The phone come with a total of 5 cameras. There is four cameras at the back while there is a single pop up camera at the front for selfies.

When you buy this Huawei device, you get a 64MP main camera. Then you also have 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor completing the Quad rear cameras.

Up front is the 32MP motorized pop up camera. Features of the rear cameras includes gyro-EIS and 4K video. There is no optical zoom, OIS and Slow mo feature.

But, the cameras of this phone is very good. Photo quality from this device will satisfy you if you are the photo type.

Huawei Y9a: Chipset and Software

You get Android 10 along with Huawei EMUI 10.1 and with no Google Play Services (repetition for emphasis). As we have said before, the Huawei App Gallery is not as big as Google Playstore yet, but its growing fast.

In the chipset, Huawei used the MediaTek Helio G80 which is a gaming chipset. Its a decent mid-range chip that performs incredibly well in multi-tasking, gaming and handling some graphics work.

If you love playing games, the chip, Android 10 and full screen will give you a good experience when using this device.

Huawei Y9a: RAM and Internal Storage

The device come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB Internal Storage. There is also an option for storage expansion via microSD card.

Huawei Y9a: Sensor and Battery

There is a side mounted fingerprint reader, gryo, proximity sensors etc. Then depending on your region, you get 4200mAh or 4300mAh battery. There is also 22.5W or 40W fast charge enabled depending on your region too.

Without Google Play services, Huawei still plans on moving on and so far one can say they have done pretty good even though we don’t know what is happening behind the scenes. Huawei phones are still pretty good and this phone can testify to that.
