Display and Design
The Infinix Hot 12 comes with a bigger 6.82-inch display but features an IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a 720p screen resolution which is disappointing to see in 2022. The Hot 12 build material is a Glass front, plastic frame, and plastic back. The front screen is flat and has a dot on the screen that houses the single selfie camera.
While on the other hand, the Infinix Note 12 comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, but with no higher refresh rate. In comparison to the Infinix Hot 12, the Infinix Note 12 display is better, brighter and sharper.
Camera
When it comes to the camera segment, the Infinix Hot 12 could not measure up to the Note 12. Even though both devices can take bright images in good lighting conditions, however, the 50MP on Note 12 is crispier. The same goes for the selfie camera.
Performance | 5G | Configuration
There’s no 5G network on any of them. And both have a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. As well as a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. However, the chipsets that power them vary. The Infinix Hot 12 is powered by MediaTek helio G85, while the Infinix Note 12 is powered by MediaTek helio G88 chipset.
The two chipsets inside both devices are for budget gaming smartphones. And so far from our testing in the studio, both chips are at par. So the performances across both phones are neck to neck.
