The Infinix Note 12 VIP has now been officially announced by the Chinese tech company. The Note 12 VIP is the newest 2022 premium mid-range device from Infinix. And the phone parades a 120Hz display, 120W charging and a 108MP main camera.
The Infinix Note 12 VIP packs a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen with a FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This is a 10-bit panel with 100% DCI-P3 coverage and a 360Hz touch sampling rate.

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek helio G96 chipset, paired with an 8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage. Also, it comes with 8GB of real RAM and can enable 5GB of virtual RAM. It has dual speakers with DTS and dual X-axis linear motors for superior haptic feedback. While the helio G96 chipset limited the device to 4G connectivity.
In the camera department, the device features a 108MP main camera (1/1.67”, 1.92µm pixels after 9-in-1 pixel binning), along with a 13MP ultrawide sensor, as well as a Laser AF system. While upfront the selfie camera is 16MP.

Additionally, the smartphone boots XOS 10.6 skin software based on Android 12 out of the box with a 4,500 mAh battery capacity. According to Infinix, the VIP’s battery will retain 85% of its capacity after 800 charge cycles. The Infinix Note 12 VIP charges from 0 – 100% in just 17 minutes.

Infinix Note 12 (G96) was Announced as well
Coming alongside the premium Infinix Note 12 VIP is the Infinix Note 12 (G96). It is a mid-range device that is powered by a similar MediaTek helio G96 chipset, paired with 8/128 GB. The smartphone comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED touchscreen but with no high refresh rate. In comparison to the VIP, the battery here is slightly larger at 5,000mAh, but slower to charge (33W).
Infinix Note 12 (G96) boots XOS 10.6 based on Android 12 out of the box. Also, the camera on the rear has a 50MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP helper (with no ultra wide lens). While upfront is a 16MP selfie camera.
