Infinix Zero Ultra is the newest smartphone from the Chinese tech company. It launches on October 5th, 2022. And its price is about 2x more expensive than the price of the Zero X Pro when it was launched last year. The Zero Ultra will be available in Africa, Asia, and some parts of Europe. Also, the device is now available for purchase on AliExpress.

Starting with the display features, the Infinix ZERO ULTRA has a slightly bigger screen. A curved 6.8-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED touchscreen with 120Hz refresh rate support. While the Infinix Zero X Pro has a 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED touchscreen with 120Hz refresh rate support too.

When it comes to the camera aspect, the Infinix Zero Ultra is one of the first smartphones in the world to feature a 200MP OIS camera. The 200MP sensor delivers a high-quality result and it’s paired with portrait and ultra-wide lenses. While upfront, it has a 32MP selfie camera. Both the rear and front cameras can record video in 4K resolution.

Compared to the Infinix Zero X Pro, the cameras here are also pretty solid. It features a 108MP primary camera with an 8MP periscope lens and 8MP ultra-wide sensor. And up front, it has a 16MP selfie camera. The Infinix Zero X Pro can record 4K videos.

Overall, the cameras on both smartphones are pretty solid. From our tests so far, you’d have to nitpick else both smartphones have excellent quality. The Infinix Zero X Pro is a solid camera device like the Zero Ultra.

Infinix Zero Ultra is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. While the Infinix Zero X Pro uses MediaTek helio G95 4G chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage.

The Infinix Zero Ultra is 5G supported, unlike the Zero X Pro which is limited to a 4G network. And when it comes to gaming and other rigorous usages, the new Infinix Zero Ultra is faster and better. It processes commands faster thanks to the LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 supports.

More so, the Infinix Zero Ultra has a better cooling system, and better image signal processing (ISP). Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a 3.5mm jack.

Another advantage of getting the Infinix Zero Ultra is because of the software. The Zero Ultra runs XOS 12 skin based on Android 12 out of the box. While the Infinix Zero X Pro boots XOS 10 based on Android 11 software from the box.

But will the Infinix Zero Ultra update to Android 13? Most likely! Although Infinix is yet to confirm how many years of software upgrade the Zero Ultra will get, the company may give it a year or two OS upgrades if they choose to.

The Infinix Zero Ultra is very expensive. Its price is about 2x higher than that of its predecessor- Zero X Pro. So, should you upgrade? Well, it depends. However, when it comes to camera quality, both smartphones are good.
