About Infinix Zero X Pro
Infinix Zero X Pro is the latest flagship smartphone from Infinix Mobile. It’s also the most sophisticated smartphone yet by the company. It comes with 108MP main camera, an AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. But there is even more interesting stuff about this device.
So, let’s talk about specifications of the Zero X Pro and get to know more about the device. We’ll start from its chipset, CPU, and GPU. Then we’ll talk about its software, camera, RAM, storage, and battery.
Chipset, CPU and GPU
The chipset inside the Infinix Zero X Pro is MediaTek Helio G95 chip. This is an gaming SoC manufactured by MediaTek and it has better CPU and GPU when compared with the MediaTek Helio G90T.
The chipset has an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.05 GHz that is accompanied by the Arm Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. This chipset does not have support for 5G but somehow, Infinix tweaked it to support 120Hz refresh and 108MP. How? Infinix paired the G95 processor with MediaTek’s Intelligent Display chipset, which resulted in the higher refresh rate support.
The Zero X Pro has a triple rear cameras; a 108MP primary lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens and 8MP periscope. Upfront the phone has a 16MP selfie camera placed in a tiny punch hole at the middle.
The main camera of the Zero X Pro has optical image stabilization (OIS), can record steady video, and can shoot 4K video. Another impressive camera feature is the 60x telephoto that you can use to take photos from afar.
This is the first time an Infinix phone will be having a 108MP sensor with OIS and a periscope lens. Overall, the camera experience of the Zero X Pro is really good.
Display and Build
The Infinix Zero X Pro has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, FHD+ resolution with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 700 nits of brightness. It has small bezels and there is a tiny punch hole placed at the middle.
Its build material is glass front, glass back and plastic frame. The phone is not water and dust resistant so keep away from water and dust.
As for durability, the front is Gorilla glass and the plastic frame is also very tough. But using a protective case and glass will increase the durability of the device.
RAM, Storage and Battery
Infinix Zero X Pro comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also has space for storage expansion via microSD card.
The phone is powered by a non-removable 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charge technology. Charging the battery from 0 to 100% will take about 55 minutes.
Software and Connectivity
Infinix Zero X Pro runs Android 11 out of box on top Infinix’s XOS 7.6 software. We still don’t know if this device will be the first Infinix smartphone to have support for software upgrade.
Games and Apps can be downloaded from Google Play Store and you have access to use all Google Mobile Services.
