Intel 13th Gen Core “Raptor Lake” CPU will be arriving in the second half of 2022. And following the visual demonstration by Intel at the Investors Meeting 2022 event, the company confirmed that their forthcoming consumer processor will feature up to 8 Performance cores and 16 Efficient Cores.
That means the upcoming “Raptor Lake” CPU will double the number of small cores found in Alder Lake CPU. It will offer up to 24 cores and 32 threads. And just like Alder Lake, Intel Raptor Lake will be built on Intel 7 Process node and performance hybrid technology. It was as well confirmed by Intel that the upcoming 13th Gen Raptor Lake CPU will be socket compatible with Alder Lake systems.
