iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Plus will have 120Hz ProMotion displays. Those iPhones are expected to launch in 2025. Which could mean that this year’s iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will have just 60Hz but the 16 Pro and Pro Max keep the 120Hz.

By using the LTPO OLED displays on the iPhone 17 and 17 Plus devices, Apple will finally add an Always-on display to its cheaper models too.

BOE and Samsung will introduce the panels next year in high supply to Apple. The iPhone 17 and 17 Plus will certainly get 120Hz displays with Always-on.
