iQOO 12 Specs: vivo has released the iQOO 12 as the successor to the iQOO 11. It comes with a new chipset, a faster charging system, new camera sensors, more RAM, etc.

iQOO 12 Specifications
Display and Design
The vivo iQOO 12 has a 6.78-inch E7 AMOLED display of 1260 x 2800 pixels resolution with a 20:9 ratio and 453 ppi density. The display is an LTPO AMOLED panel that supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The display of the phone has a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and has features such as HDR10+, Dolby Vision, etc.
The front screen is made of Gorilla Glass, has a glass back, and its frame is made of aluminum. It has a punch hole on the screen that houses the selfie camera and a square rear camera module in the top left corner.

Chipset and Performance
The performance of the iQOO 12 is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset from Qualcomm. This is a 5G chipset that has octa-core processors with one prime core, five performance cores, and two efficiency cores.
The prime core of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is the ARM Cortex-X4 with a speed of 3.3GHz. It also has five performance Cortex-A720 cores with a speed of 3.2GHz and two efficiency Cortex-A520 cores with a speed of 2.3GHz.
The processor in the iQOO 12 is paired with the Adreno 750 GPU, a new ISP, and a new Neural Engine (AI engine). The chipset supports fast LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. They are paired with up to 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Camera: Photography and Video
iQOO 12 has three rear cameras and a single front camera. The smartphone has a 50MP primary camera, a 64MP telephoto camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 16MP front camera.
The primary camera has dual-pixel PDAF, Laser AF, and OIS features. The 64MP telephoto supports 3x optical zoom and the ultra-wide camera has an AF feature. The 16MP front camera can not record videos in 4K but the back cameras can.
Other camera features available in the iQOO 12 are the Dual-LED flash, panorama, HDR, 8K video recording, AutoFocus, 4K video recording, gyro-EIS, HDR10+, 10-bit Dolby Vision HDR, etc.

Software and UI
The iQOO 12 boots the Android 14 software based on vivo’s new OriginOS out of the box (those outside China will get Funtouch 14 skin software). vivo has promised at least three years of major software updates for the iQOO 12. The OriginOS and Funtouch 14 allow for UI customization and also make the UX of the phone good.
Battery and Charging Features
The battery inside the iQOO 12 is a 4,880mAh battery with 120W wired. You can charge the battery of the iQOO 12 from 0 to 100% in about 20 minutes using the 120W charger. The charger comes in the box including a SIM card ejector and use manual.

Security
The primary security of the iQOO 12 is the under-display optical fingerprint scanner. It also supports security systems like pattern, PIN, password, and Face Unlock. Available sensors include accelerometer, proximity, gyro, compass, barometer, color spectrum, etc.
