The iQOO 12 series were recently announced and they come out of the box running Android 14 software. And now the tech company has confirmed the iQOO 12 to support 3 years of OS updates.

That’s to say the iQOO 12 series will upgrade from Android 14 to Android 17 (up to 2027). Although Samsung, Google, and OnePlus still have longer OS support.
More so, iQOO is getting rid of all the bloatware. So things like “Hot Apps” and “Hot Games” won’t be available starting from the Funtouch OS 14. In other words – iQOO is getting rid of the bloatware.
