The chipset inside the iQOO 9 Pro is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This is a flagship chipset that powers most of the 2022 Android smartphones. Its CPU speed is clocked at 3.0 GHz and it has a peak download speed of 10 Gbps and peak upload speed of 5 Gbps.

The CPU is paired with the latest Adreno 730 GPU which is very good at rendering high graphics. Qualcomm brought lost of AI and machine learning improvements inside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The ISP inside is also very impressive and can record up to 8k video.

iQOO 9 Pro features a triple rear camera setup; a 50MP main camera with PDAF and gimbal OIS, a 16MP periscope telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. Upfront the phone features a 16MP wide angle selfie camera placed in a punch hole at the top center.

iQOO 9 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, QHD+ resolution with 120Hz refresh rate. The display uses the LTPO tech which allows the display to refresh between 120Hz to 1Hz depending on usage.

Its design is beautiful and it has a very solid build material with a display protected by corning gorilla glass. Other display features of the Vivo iQOO 9 Pro are: LTPO AMOLED, 1B colors, 120Hz, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 1000 nits (HBM), and 1500 nits (peak).

It comes with Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). It also comes with dual speakers and but has no room for 3.5mm jack port.

iQOO 9 Pro comes in three RAM and storage options: 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB of storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB of storage. It has no has space for storage expansion via microSD card.
