iQOO 9T
iQOO 9T is a budge premium smartphone that is manufactured by vivo through its sub-brand iQOO. The iQOO 9T has the same chipset and similar performance as the iQOO 10 Pro but is more affordable. And for its price, it is an affordable premium smartphone. But, what are the other specifications and features of the iQOO 9T?
To know more about the iQOO 9T, allow me to break down the specifications of the device starting with the chipset, CPU, and GPU.
Chipset, CPU, and GPU
The iQOO 9T features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. This 5G chipset is built on TSMC’s 4nm process technology. This chipset/SoC features an Octa-core CPU with a speed clocked at 3.19GHz and an enhanced Adreno 730 GPU. The peak download speed of this chipset is above 10Gbps and its peak upload speed is above 5Gbps.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip has improved performance and heat management over the chipset used in the iQOO 9 Pro. This chipset is fast and more efficient. Even under intensive use, the chipset can manage heat so well that the iQOO 9T doesn’t get hot. You won’t experience lags when playing graphics-intensive games and you’ll get consistent performance for a long time.
Compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, the CPU inside the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip is faster and the GPU is also very powerful. Other interesting features of this chipset are that it has support for LPDDR5 RAM tech, UFS 3.1 storage, Bluetooth 5.2, and can record videos in 8K resolution.

Display, Design, and Durability
The display size of the iQOO 9T is 6.78-inches with FHD+ resolution (1080 x 2400 pixels) and a 120Hz AMOLED panel. The display panel allows the smartphone to auto-refresh between 120Hz and 60Hz depending on current use. It also has support for HDR10+ and the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and has a Monster Touch support feature. The front screen is flat while the back panel is slightly curved.
iQOO 9T is made of a Glass front (Gorilla Glass 5), an aluminum frame, and a glass back. The device is IP52 – dust and dripping water resistant and a single fall from a reasonable height (like a table) won’t shatter the glass of this device. Its rear camera module is placed in the top left corner while on the front it has a punch hole on top of the screen that houses the selfie camera.
The iQOO 9T has its volume rocker and power button on the right side of the frame of the phone. It has a microphone, speaker grill, and USB Type-C charging port on the bottom frame of the phone. Sadly, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack port and no microSD card slot.
