iQOO is getting set to launch series of devices in China later this year. The devices include the launch of the iQOO Pad and it’s new iQOO Neo 8 series. The company has today confirmed some of specs of the Neo 8 phones.

iQOO Neo 8 series Launch Date

iQOO has confirmed via a Weibo post that it’ll launch the iQOO Neo 8 series in China on May 23, 2023. The teaser poster shared by the company confirmed the launch date and also some other details. The teaser image showered that the iQOO Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro will pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W wired charging system.

According to iQOO, the 120W fast charger can charge the 5,000mAh battery from 0 to 50% in about 9 minutes. This will make it one of fastest charging smartphones in the market.

This teaser is arriving after the company had previously shared the anTuTu score of the iQOO Neo 8 Pro revealing it’s chipset details. So far, we know that the iQOO Neo 8 will feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 5G chipset while the iQOO Neo 8 Pro will feature the Dimensity 9200+ 5G chipset.

The Chinese phone maker has also said that the iQOO Neo 8 series will feature a custom imaging chipset. The company also confirmed earlier that the display will support 144Hz refresh rate and phones will have a 50-megapixel main camera on the rear.
