The launch of the Asus ROG Phone 7 phones are scheduled for April 13 which is a few days from now. Ahead of the launch, new leaked images have confirmed that the ROG Phone 7 Pro will come with a very essential and useful accessory.
According to the new leaked images, the Asus Rog Phone 7 phones will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. However, the ROG Phone 7 Pro was spotted with an AeroActive cooling device. This means that an AeroActive device will accompany the PRO model.
This AeroActive device is similar to the one used in the Rog Phone 6D Ultimate from last year. It opens and gives the AeroActive Cooler more direct access to the chipset’s heatsink. This cools down the chipset and allows it to sustain the performance of the phone for a longer time.
Aside from the Aeriactive, the ROG Phone 7 Pro is also the only phone in the model with a secondary display on the back. Asus is preparing a first-party case and screen protector for the phones – the DEVILCASE was also available for the ROG Phone 6, as was the screen protector.
So far, we can speculate about some of the specs of the Rog Phone 7 phones. The Rog Phone 7 is expected to come with a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that supports a 165Hz refresh rate. It’s also expected to have 50+13+5MP cameras and feature a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging (20V at 3.25A).
As stated above, its performance will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset from Qualcomm but rumor has it that there’ll be a variant powered by the Dimensity 9200+ chipset from MediaTek. As per the software, it’ll boot Android 13 out of the box based on Asus custom UI software.
More details including official specs, price, and availability of the Asus Rog Phone 7 phones will be available on April 15 when the phone is released by the company.
