Leaked specs of Realme GT Neo 5 confirm fast charging, chipset, and more

Leaked specs of Realme GT Neo 5: Last week, a report suggested that the incoming Realme GT Neo 5 will be the fastest-charging smartphone yet. Well, the new leaked specs of the Realme GT Neo 5 have confirmed this and revealed more details about the smartphone.

A few hours ago, reliable tipster DCS leaked the key specs of the Realme GT Neo 5 on the Chinese website Weibo. Some of the specs shared by DCS before removing the post were pretty interesting.

Leaked specs of Realme GT Neo 5

According to the post by DCS, the phone will have a 6.7-inch display with support for a 144Hz refresh rate and a 2160Hz PWM dimming. The display resolution is 2772 x 1240 pixels (1.5K) and is likely to be an OLED panel.

The performance of Realme GT Neo 5 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The leaked specs suggest that the phone will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and a plastic frame, and interestingly, it will also arrive with RGB lights.

For the cameras, the Realme Gt Neo 5 is said to be coming with a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera with OIS support. The main camera is expected to be supported by two other camera sensors on the rear and a front camera. As per software, the phone will boot the latest Realme UI based on Android 13 out of the box.

The last piece of information shows that the smartphone will come in two variants. One of the variants will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery and will support 150W wired fast charging. While the other variant will be powered by a 4,600mAh battery and will support 240W wired fast charging.

Realme is yet to officially announce the launch date for the Realme GT Neo 5. But we hope to see more updates about this phone in the coming days.
