It also features three Cortex-A710 big cores with a speed clocked at 2.75GHz and four Cortex-A510 small cores with a speed clocked at 1.80GHz. This octa-core CPU is paired with the Adreno 730 GPU.

The average peak download and upload speed of the chipset is 10Gbps and 5Gbps respectively. This chipset has support for SA/NSA/Sub6 5G bands and it’s also an efficient chipset. The chipset is fast and can manage heat very well. This chipset can encode and decode videos in 8K resolution and it also features a new ISP and more Neural Engine.

Other interesting features of this chipset are that it has support for LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, NFC, GPS, and can record videos in 8K resolution.

Lenovo Legion Y70 features a triple rear camera and a single front camera. On the rear, it has a 50MP primary camera with PDAF and OIS features. This primary camera is supported by a 13MP ultra-wide lens that has Auto Focus, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies.

The 50MP primary camera can record steady videos in 8K resolution while the 16MP front camera can record steady videos in 1080p resolution. The display of the Lenovo Legion Y70 is a 6.67-inches 1080p OLED panel with support for a 144Hz refresh rate. You can choose to set the refresh rate to 60Hz, 90Hz, or 144Hz depending on current use. It also has support for HDR10+ and it has a peak brightness of 1000 nits. The front screen and back panel rate flat which makes the phone looks boxy.

Lenovo Legion Y70 is made of a Glass front, Glass front, and an aluminum frame. Its rear camera module is placed in the top left corner on the back panel while on the front it has a punch hole on top of the screen that houses the selfie camera.

      Lenovo has promised three years of major software updates followed by an extra year of security patch for this unit. But we can’t guarantee if the company will stick to the update plan.
