The M2 Max MacBook Pros are currently undergoing testing. Two Geekbench runs have confirmed a MacBook Pro with an M2 Pro processor and 96GB of RAM. What this means is that Apple would allow customers to configure the M2 Max MacBook Pro with up to 96GB of RAM.
As spotted on Geekbench, the M2 Max processor has 12 cores, running at a max of 3.54GHz, which is 2 more cores and 320Mhz faster than the M1 Pro in current-gen MacBook Pro laptops.
