The MediaTek Dimensity 9200 is 25% faster in single-core and 9% better in multi-core than the MediaTek Dimensity 8200. Going by the Geekbench scores, the Dimensity 9200 had 1,420 Single-core points and 4,451 multi-core. While the Dimensity 8200 chip had 1,132 points on single-core and 4,089, on multi-core.
As for the Configuration setup, the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset is built on TSMC’s 2nd generation 4nm process (N4P). It’s the first chipset to feature a 1x ARM Cortex-X3 CPU core with a clock speed of 3.05GHz based on the ARMv9 architecture. While the 3x Arm Cortex-A715 cores clocked at 2.85GHz, and the 4x Arm Cortex-A510 cores at 1.8GHz. In contrast, the Dimensity 8200 features older 1x Cortex-A78 clocked at 3.1GHz, 3x Cortex-A78 clocked at 3.0GHz, and 4x Cortex-A55 clocked at 2.0 GHz.
