MediaTek’s 3nm chipset will be launched in the second half of 2024. It will be the first 3nm chip based on TSMC’s 3nm process technology.
According to MediaTek, the TSMC’s 3nm chip is significantly improved than the outgoing 5nm N5 process. In comparison to present the Dimensity chipset, the 3nm Chip will be 18% faster while using similar power. It also brings a 32% power reduction at the same speed while delivering a 60% increase in logic density.

MediaTek’s 3nm chipset by TSMC will be available in smartphones, tablets, intelligent cars, and other devices starting in the second half of 2024.
