Motorola Launches Moto X40 and Moto G53: Motorola held an event in China today where the Moto X40- 2023 flagship smartphone was launched. It arrived alongside a midrange phone- Moto G53. However, the main highlight of the event was the Moto X40 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and 165Hz refresh rate display. The Moto X40 will face competition from vivo X90, Xiaomi 13, iQOO 11, etc.

Moto X40 Price in China

Moto X40 price in China starts at CNY 3,399 ($490) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model, while the 8/256 GB model is priced at CNY 3,699 ($530), and goes up to CNY 4,299 ($620) for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model. It is now available for purchase and you can use the box below.

Motorola Moto X40 has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED touchscreen with curved edges, 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, and an under-display fingerprint scanner for biometric verification. It is IP68 water and dust-resistant and has stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos.

Powering the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 5G chipset. Paired with 8/12 GB RAM and the storage options are 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. As for the battery capacity, it measures 4,600 mAh with a 125W wired fast charging system and 15W wireless.

Moto X40 has a 50MP OIS main camera, supported by a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens. Upfront is a 60MP selfie camera. The device boots MY UI 5 based on Android 13 out of the box. And it’s available in three color options Black and Blue.

Moto G53 Price in China

Motorola Moto G53’s price in China begins at CNY 899 ($129) for the 4/128 GB storage model, while the 8/128 GB variant is priced at CNY 1,100 ($160). It is a budget smartphone and was launched alongside the flagship Moto X40.

The Moto G53 features a 6.5-Inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate and HD+ screen resolution. For security, the smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint for biometric verification. It is offered in two color options Black and Grey.

Motorola Moto G53 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon chipset, paired with 4GB or 8GB RAM. The storage capacity is 128GB but it can be expanded via microSD. The battery measures 5,000 mAh capacity with an 18W wired fast charge system.

The camera department sees a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. While upfront is an 8MP selfie camera. More so the device runs MyOS 5 based on Android out of the box.
