Motorola Moto X40 is now available for Purchase

Pre-orders of the Motorola Moto X40 started immediately after it was launched in China and the phone will start shipping out by the end of December (if you’re reading this post in 2023, it means the phone has started shipping out). The base model with 8GB RAM + 128GB of storage is sold for $599 while the models with 12GB RAM + 256GB and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage are sold for $699 and $799 respectively.

Motorola Moto X40 has a 6.7-inch FHD+P-OLED display, smooth 165Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+. The display has SGS eye protection certification, supports DCI-P3 color gamut, and can display over a billion colors. The screen of the Moto X40 is slightly curved on both sides and has a punch hole.

The SoC inside the Motorola Moto X40 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone boots MyUI 5.1 based on Android 13 out of the box and will get up to three years of software updates. For security, the Moto X40 is equipped with an optical under-display fingerprint scanner.
