Motorola is going to make it difficult for Samsung to sell the Galaxy Z Flip 4 if the company releases the Motorola RAZR 3. This is because according to a new leak, the price of the RAZR 3 in the EU is €1,149. This is about €250 cheaper compared to the previously released RAZR 5G.
And even though the incoming Galaxy Z Flip 4 might be a €100 cheaper than the RAZR 3, Motorola will be making some major changes to its new clamshell foldable phone.

Unlike previous RAZR models, the incoming RAZR 3 is said to be a full flagship smartphone. It will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip (the same chipset that might be used in the Galaxy Z Flip 4) and will have an improved display.
The inside screen is rumored to be 6.7-inches and will have support for a 120Hz refresh rate. While it will also have a 3-inches outer display that can be used to interact with notifications and apps. It will come with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage but we don’t expect to see a microSD card slot.

Huawei recently released the Huawei P50 Pocket which would have been a good phone to buy if only it support Google Mobile Services. But most users can use the Huawei P50 Pocket outside China because there is no Google Play Store. So, the clamshell foldable phone is really not much of a threat to Galaxy Z Flip outside the Chinese market.
However, the incoming Motorola RAZR 3 will boot Android 12 out of the box and will have support for Google Mobile Services. And if Motorola can manage to make the RAZR 3 water and dustproof, then we have a real competition on our hands.

If the RAZR 3 comes out at this price point (might still be €100 more expensive than the Z Flip 4) with flagship specs and cameras, then the RAZR 3 might give the Galaxy Z Flip 4 a run for its money.
