MTN 4G Network: MTN Nigeria is arguably the biggest and best telecommunication company in the country. In an effort to make 4G available for their customers, they recently launched 4G in most northern states.
The MTN 4G network is known to be among the stable 4G network in the country. While it’s true that they might not be available in some places it when you get connected to MTN 4G you’ll love using it.
Below is a breakdown of northern states and other states where MTN launch their 4G network and what this possibly means.

Where You Can Get MTN 4G Network in Nigeria
It’s now confirmed that you can get MTN 4G network across the 36 states of the country. Well, this might not necessarily mean the 4G network will be available in interior villages just yet. But in major cities of the 36 states you’ll have access to enjoy MTN 4G.
The states recently added to this list includes; Kwara, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Sokoto, Kogi, Plateau, Nassarawa, Gombe, Jigawa, Niger, Ogun and Rivers state.
These is in addition to the previous States where MTN 4G is already available. This means that you can now enjoy more 4G fast network connectivity if you live in these states but there is even more.

MTN Nigeria also have more data plans to help you better enjoy the use of 4G. For example, you can get 1GB of data for just N300 which is incredible. Also, when you upgrade your SIM to 4G you can enjoy double data on every of your monthly data bundles.
What this Means for Nigerians
Increase in 4G availability means the company is ready to bring 5G Network to the country. While the infrastructure for 5G is currently not available and the likes of NCC is yet to give license for 5G in the country, but telecommunication companies are putting in their sneakers for the raise.
Also remember that back in October 2019, MTN Nigeria tested 5G connectivity with good level of success in, Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt and Calabar.
