To make your chats on WhatsApp more expressive, WhatsApp is working on a new update. This update will introduce a feature that allows you to automatically search for stickers.

The App will show you sticker options from your sticker library based on what you typed into the chatbox. You can already see this feature activated for Emoji when typing in the chatbox. And now, a new smat algorithm will also introduce it for stickers.

According to the screenshots coming from WABetaInfo, the sticker icon will appear differently when the app makes a suggestion. Then you can tap the icon to see all suggestions.

This only works well with built-in stickers for now. However, third-party sticker developers such as Sticker Maker will be working to make their stickers compatible with this new update soon. A new software update is expected to introduce these features soon.

To make use of all the features above, you first need to update your WhatsApp Application. Future update to the iOS and Android WhatsApp Apps will make it possible for you to use this new feature.

You can check your App Store or Play store for a new WhatsApp App update. Or, you can turn on automatic app updates from your App store. Turning on Automatic update will allow you to receive the update quicker.

Don’t sweat too much about data. By default, iOS and Android download updates only when connected to a Wi-Fi unless you change the settings.
